hmm.. school started almost immediately after i returned from aberdeen... that other story lies in my xanga site so shall not say more... anyway.. it's been almost two weeks since school started.. still feeling pretty numb about it.. kinda unrealistic feel... there's been bazaars, lectures, tutorials... but somehow everything just passed through my senses senseless.. i'm just looking... new students, new project mates, new lecturers and all i know is i gotta mug hard this sem... every sem to me now is like the last sem to mug hard... cos i'm desperate.. yeah..
anyway.. finally saw my new lecturer for this js module.. he's a relatively young japanese... and he's teaching japan foreign policies.. hmm... the accent and the crap he's talking kinda made me sianz by half... can see he's trying to be funny and stuff but dun really get the main point of his lectures... best thing is there's only 13 of us in the class with a few true blood japanese.. dunno if it's just me or perhaps there are others who dun see eye to eye with his jokes... hmm.. will see how things go i guess...
anyway.. was attending this lect by dr. hendrik and suddenly had this idea about the privileges tourists have... it was mainly the photography privilege... i saw how he just snapped pics of people, places, events etc.. but you see either being a singaporean or it's just me again for this matter.. i find it hard to take photos of people or places openly.. somehow seems quite sua-ku or intrusion into private space feeling so.. hmm.. i'm stuck with the buildings usually... yeah.. being a tourist seemed to give you more rights to taking photos publicly..
anyway.. i was chosen to speak japanese in mr. fan's latest phone dance.. sharks.. it was pretty sudden and i kinda made a mess out of myself.. after not speaking jap for about half a year? stressed now.. sigh.. things just happen when you least want it to... yucks...
